Primary Teacher Education College ,Nagarpara, Bhagalpur (PTEC) is a unit of Education department, Govt. of Bihar. It has been established in year 1949 just after our Independance. It is situated near N.H. 31 . The nearest railway station is Narayanpur. The holy river Ganga flows just 2 km from college. It is situated in the lap of nature which promotes aesthetic values.
The College offers 2 years Pre-Service Teacher Training programme known as Diploma in Elementary Education”. (D.EL.Ed.) . The Course is recognized by NCTE, ERC Bhubaneswar and affiliated through Bihar School Examination Board, Patna. The Intake Capicity is 150 Trainee in a session.
The College is dedicated to prepare a teacher who will serve the nation. “Regularity, Sincerity and punctuality” is our motto and guiding principles also. The lecturers of Bihar Education Service (BES), (Research and Training sub-cadre) are posted in the college. All are hard working, intended towards shaping the behaviour of Trainee.
